Belgium surprises the world, again

After the MP3 player incident with Joe Van Holsbeeck, we now have the cigarette incident with Bart Bonroy.

This 18 year old guy was waiting for a bus with his friend Jilles Coopman, while someone asks them for a cigarette, which they refused to give. After that, he pulls his knife and stabs both guys in the belly.


Bart Bonroy died because of those injuries in the hospital...

This weekend, I was in Ostend, and visited the place where it all happened.
The pavement was filled with flowers, candles, letters, and... cigarettes - to show how pointless this murder is.
