I'm a bit embarrassed to say this, but until now I didn't have the CDs
Kill 'em all,
Ride the Lightning and
And justice for all... in my possession. Not that I don't like them, on the contrary... I just didn't get to buying them.
I was waiting until CDs became a bit cheaper: € 20 per CD is a bit too much for me. For some reason, CDs just don't become any cheaper, while video DVDs are almost given away for free.
Why can't CDs become cheaper when they get older? I mean, the album Kill 'em all is released 23 years ago, and in most stores it's still as expensive as recently released albums.

I found these Metallica albums at
play.com for 10 to 12 euros, shipping included. That's what I call a decent price... if more albums were priced like this, I'm sure a lot more people would buy music albums they normally wouldn't - because of their ridiculous price tag.
Oh well, I'm sure this discussion has been made over and over, without any success. It's up to the record labels to make the change. I'll be looking forward to that day.
