The game "Rock Band" is about to hit Europe!

Metallica's James Hetfield - Guitar HeroDo you like Guitar Hero (song: Black Sabbath - Iron Man)? Then there's some great news for you: a new game called Rock Band is coming out on console. Here, you can sing, play the guitar, bass guitar or the drums, which means you can play with up to four players at once.

Sounds like great fun to me!

But what makes it even better, is that Metallica will be presenting their new album on this game. I'd buy the game just for this!

If only I had a console...

I'm an Anti-Phishing Champion!

PayPal Anti-Phishing Champion certificateLately, I've been receiving fake PayPal e-mails on a daily basis. Not really a problem, as these mails are automatically moved to my "Junk mail folder" in Thunderbird.

Because I'm such a nice guy, I decided to alert PayPal about it. For those that don't know it yet, you can just forward those fraudulent mails to spoof@paypal.com, so that the tech guys can inspect them. After a minute, they replied with a nice thankyou message, which contained the link to their Fight Phishing Challenge.

Guess what... I managed to answer all 5 questions correctly, making me a true Anti-Phishing Champion! Something new to put on my resume...

Three times MetallicA

Metallica - Kill 'em allI'm a bit embarrassed to say this, but until now I didn't have the CDs Kill 'em all, Ride the Lightning and And justice for all... in my possession. Not that I don't like them, on the contrary... I just didn't get to buying them.

I was waiting until CDs became a bit cheaper: € 20 per CD is a bit too much for me. For some reason, CDs just don't become any cheaper, while video DVDs are almost given away for free.

Why can't CDs become cheaper when they get older? I mean, the album Kill 'em all is released 23 years ago, and in most stores it's still as expensive as recently released albums.

Play dot comI found these Metallica albums at play.com for 10 to 12 euros, shipping included. That's what I call a decent price... if more albums were priced like this, I'm sure a lot more people would buy music albums they normally wouldn't - because of their ridiculous price tag.

Oh well, I'm sure this discussion has been made over and over, without any success. It's up to the record labels to make the change. I'll be looking forward to that day.
