Sabayon
Apart from being an italian dessert, it is also a linux distro based on Gentoo. I heard there was a new version released, so I decided to give it a try.
Right now I've got a 3GB file waiting on my laptop, which I first need to burn to a DVD. Quite big... Ubuntu is just one CD, which has the most used applications preinstalled. Anyway, SabayonLinux also uses a LiveCD like Ubuntu, so that makes it a bit easier to start with.
I've never used Gentoo, and I'm not that fond of KDE, so I'm not sure what to expect.
Not that I want to leave Ubuntu (which is installed on both my laptop and desktop), I'm just looking for something to play with
You'll find my opinions on this page after trying out the Live CD...
